The PO Box is a great service. However, they do not support FedEx, Amazon, UPS, or any other shipper. They only accept USPS. While this is not an issue regarding personal letters, I would have to have a different address for packages to ship to me. With that in mind, it made more sense to pay the mailing address, and eventually phase out the PO Box. With that in mind, my PO Box will remain until late 2023. After that, the service will expire, and I will not renew.
The PO Box had an advantage that I could walk to the address, and that made things simpler. However, it wasn’t worth the $120/year that the box was going to cost me.
